At Silver Lake Mushrooms, we work hard to ensure every order arrives fresh and in excellent condition. Because we handle both perishable gourmet mushrooms and cultivation supplies, our refund and shipping policies differ slightly depending on the product type.
· Fresh Mushroom Orders
- All fresh mushrooms are final sale due to their perishable nature.
- Customers must inspect their order immediately upon delivery.
- If there is an issue with quality, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the product.
- At our discretion, we may offer a replacement or credit for the next order.
· Cultivation Supplies (Agar Plates, Cultures, Substrate Bags, etc.) - Supplies are carefully inspected before shipment.
- If you receive a defective or contaminated product, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery.
- Eligible products may be replaced or refunded at our discretion.
- We do not guarantee specific cultivation results, as outcomes depend on handling, storage, and growing conditions.
Shipping & Delivery - We deliver fresh mushrooms within the Greater Toronto Area and ship select products across Canada.
- Shipping timelines are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays, weather, or holidays.
- Silver Lake Mushrooms is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers.
- Once an order is handed to the courier, risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer.
· Returns - Due to food safety regulations, fresh mushrooms cannot be returned once delivered.
- Non-perishable cultivation supplies may be eligible for return if unopened and in original condition, subject to approval.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or incorrect.
